Appletree Cafe is Back!
Every Sunday at Lofel & Burke.

A unique extension of Appletree Records that started out in the winter of 2005 in of Amsterdam´s finest venues, Bitterzoet. The idea was to create your ultimate sunday afternoon atmosphere. Not only a place where you can hear the most laidback jazz, soul and hiphoptunes, but also a place where you can sit comfortably, have a good coffee, read some Jill Scott poetry, the weekend papers, get some work done or just chill out until your hangover slowly slides away.

Now in 2008, we found a new spot to harvest the Appletree Cafe cozyness, the new cafe Lofel & Burke from the former owners of Bitterzoet. Every Sunday we open up our comfy couches, mellow tunes and good company for you.

Besides this weekly residence, Appletree Cafe travels to different festivals every year, providing a unique chillout area for every hiphop-jazz-soul-minded festival. Last year Appletree successfully entered The Hague Jazzfestival PureJazz, hosting one of the small areas featuring Kid Sublime, Sotu the Traveller, a spectacular live show by Mark de Clive-Low, Jazzanova dj’s and much more.

Appletree is always interested to work together with events or festivals, so if you are too, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
